Bad Phorm

It hasn’t been widely reported but it seems the Home Office may have colluded with cyber-spying firm, Phorm.

Phorm is a technology that tracks your Internet browsing then delivers adverts that reflect your interests.

The BBC is reporting HERE that the Home Office exchanged emails with Phorm before releasing a public statement.

On this issue, a Home Office spokesman said “We are committed to protecting the privacy of UK consumers”… this from the Department headed by Jacqui Smith who is probably using Phorm as some sort of Beta test for online  surveillance technology.
